I wanted to create a little character animation for the about page of my portfolio website (tildaroseillustration.com). So, I set up about hand-painting this little lady and her sleeping cat into a stop-motion. Scroll down to see how it was made. 

First, I started designing the animation on Procreate and deciding how I wanted her to move. 

Then I set about painting all the necessary elements in acrylic gouache onto illustration board.

Then all I had to do was stitch it together on back on Procreate.
